Every Friday (since April 2009), we hold a public screening by the Municipal House (Obecní dům) at the Republic Square (náměstí Republiky) about our society’s treatment of animals with regards to meat, milk, egg, and fur production. We offer leaflets and other printed materials to viewers and interested passers-by.
Events of this type are not just a great opportunity to spread the word, but they also provide a meeting point for activists in Prague and help them keep in touch. The more people come, the better. You can help us put up the tent, give out leaflets, talk to people, or you can just stop by for a chat.
We usually start around 6 PM. The time of the ending isn’t fixed — it depends on our energy and the interest of the passers-by. We usually end around 9 PM.
If you would like to come, let us know by e-mail (preferably before Friday) or by phone at 776 053 932, so that we can inform you about possible changes in plans (e.g. cancellation or postponement due to weather conditions).
We look forward to seeing you.
